Learn About Superbills

Before You Book

What should I expect at my first appointment? +

Your initial evaluation is typically 60-75 minutes. We will do a comprehensive assessment of your movement, strength, and pain, discuss your goals and medical history, and develop a personalized treatment plan together. You will leave with a clear plan and often a home exercise program.

Do you accept insurance? +

We are a cash-based practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide detailed superbills that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Call your insurer before your visit to check your out-of-network benefits.

Do I need a doctor's referral? +

In Florida, you can see a physical therapist without a doctor's referral for up to 30 days (direct access). After that, a physician referral is required to continue treatment.

What should I wear or bring? +

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the affected area (e.g., shorts for knee or hip issues, a tank top for shoulder). Bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRIs), surgical notes, or previous PT records, as well as your completed new patient forms.

Do you offer telehealth or home visits? +

Yes. We offer both telehealth video sessions and in-home visits. Telehealth is available at standard rates. At-home visits may include an additional travel fee depending on your location. Contact us to discuss your options.
